Public Health sits at the at the forefront of our early intervention and prevention work and so we are looking for a Director of Public Health who enjoys building strong relationships with other partners and organisations including the London Cancer Hub, a global innovation centre being developed in the South of the borough.
You will lead on tackling public health challenges that we share with many other authorities including child obesity, substance misuse and sexual health but also play a vital leadership role in ensuring that public health is embedded at the heart of the services we provide for our residents. Your relationships and advice will be respected by internal and external partners, as will your ability to work closely with the Leader and Elected Members of the Council who have a strong interest in public health.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Council with some truly unique features which will also be home to a world class cancer research campus, attracting talented scientists and clinicians and the brightest and best researchers.
